Fabrication and Manufacturing of OEM Mining Parts
Western Metalworx has the capability and capacity to fabricate the most complex parts in high volumes. We are OEM certified, meaning our parts are of the highest quality and exceed the standards of the original manufactures.
Our large premises allows us to accommodate a growing workforce and keep up with large orders. Our new 3500sqm manufacturing facility in Malaga features CNC cutting and machining facilities, a 200-tonne press brake and multiple overhead gantry cranes, enabling us to undertake mining fabrication jobs of all sizes. Our trained and coded welders work with sheet metal, aluminium and stainless steel to produce mining products of the highest possible quality.

Refurbishment of Mining Components
From OEM equipment updates and frame reclaims to guard cover replacement and basic re-welds, Western Metalworx is the go-to fabricator for mining equipment refurbishment.
At Western Metalworx, we extend the longevity and functionality of mining equipment through the use of custom fabricated wear liners, wear teeth and other wear parts.
To avoid compromising equipment exostructure, we use Solidworks software to model all components in real space, then use tools like our CNC plasma cutter to fabricate and install in-house.
We use hardened steel wear plate abrasion-resistant steel products to create wear components, minimising downtime, extending service life and increasing productivity.

Welders and fabricators are coded to relevant Australian standards and tested every six months by external assessors, while continuous training and improvement programs ensure that all team members operate at the top of their game.
The work doesn’t stop upon delivery, either. We strive to provide consistent after-sales support, checking in with clients to see how their products are performing, then fine-tuning the next iteration, building capabilities and cementing relationships within the industry.
